Using the site

You can take tests, save and share result cards, invite others with challenge links, and sign up for email news of new tests. Please sign up with your own email address.

You may share your own result cards for personal, non-commercial purposes. Anything you post on a social platform is also subject to that platform's rules.

What you enter

You choose the nicknames, pet names and photos you enter. Make sure you have the right to use them.

Please don't enter anything illegal, hateful, harassing or sexual, don't pretend to be someone else, and don't enter sensitive information about yourself or personal information about others. We may remove saved nicknames or results that aren't appropriate.

How we handle what you enter is explained in the Privacy notice.

Test results

For every test, we read the research, check our sources and credit them, aiming for something both fun and well-founded. Even so, a few minutes of answers can only show so much. A result is an informed reading, not a substitute for professional measurement, diagnosis or advice.

If something specific worries you, talk to the right professional: a vet about your pet's health, especially if a test flags a warning sign, and a doctor or mental health professional about your mood, body or mind. Scores on skill and knowledge tests aren't official results of any kind.

We do our best to keep content accurate and correct mistakes when we find them, but some may slip through. Please don't base important decisions on a test result alone.

Acceptable use

When using the site, please don't:

• attack the site, overload it or get around its security;
• submit results automatically or in bulk, or otherwise skew the figures on purpose;
• scrape or copy tests, questions or results to publish elsewhere;
• use the site to break the law or infringe anyone's rights;
• pretend to be Weirdly Accurate or suggest that we endorse you.

If these rules are broken, we may remove the content involved or limit access.

Intellectual property

The text, illustrations, design and code on the site belong to Weirdly Accurate or its licensors. Apart from sharing your own result cards, please don't copy, republish or sell them without written permission.

Names of teams, tournaments, brands and other organisations are used only to refer to them and belong to their owners. Their appearance here doesn't mean they're connected with us or endorse us. This site is not affiliated with FIFA or any football association. Third-party images are credited where they appear and remain their owners'.

If you think something on the site infringes your copyright or other rights, email us with the page and the material concerned, and we'll look into it promptly.

Feedback

Suggestions are welcome. If you send us one, we may use it to improve the site without payment or credit.

Third-party sites

The site links to other websites. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, products or practices.

Changes to the site

We may change, pause or retire any test or feature, or correct content, without notice. We do our best to keep the site available, but we don't guarantee it will always be available or free of errors.

Disclaimer

The site is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, express or implied, including that its content is accurate, fit for a particular purpose or non-infringing.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Weirdly Accurate isn't liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the site or reliance on a test result.

This doesn't limit any liability that the law doesn't allow to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, and it doesn't affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Age requirement

You need to be at least 13 to use the site. If you're a minor where you live, please use it with a parent's or guardian's permission.

General

By using the site you agree to these terms.

If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term straight away, we haven't waived it.

These terms are available in several languages. If the versions differ, the English version applies.
